There’s a sleek new look to the Silverado EV. It’s sculpted for excellent aerodynamics to help boost your overall driving range and has a shorter front overhang than previous Silverado trucks to help your visibility from the driver’s seat. New 24-inch aluminum wheels add an extra pop of unmistakable style as well. The Silverado EV is offered exclusively as a crew cab model with a 5-foot-11-inch bed and available tonneau cover. Make good use of the bed using the versatile six-function Multi-Flex tailgate. A front eTrunk lets you utilize the space where the engine used to be as additional storage.
One of the unique new design features of the Silverado EV removes the barrier between the bed and the cabin — literally. The Multi-Flex Midgate® with pass-through lets you extend your load floor from the truck bed into the cabin where you can fold down the 60/40 second-row seat to create a 10-foot-10-inch cargo length. The EV-enabled versatility continues with the large front console — made possible because the Silverado no longer has a transmission. The all-electric 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is powered by a 24-module Ultium battery pack which supplies power to the front and rear drive motors that make up the e4WD system. When you’re ready to unleash the full power of the Ultium battery pack, go into Wide Open Watts mode and get ready to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 4.5 seconds. In Wide Open Watts mode, the Silverado EV RST makes over 660 horsepower and over 780 pound-feet of torque.
All that power translates to excellent utility — the RST trim has a GM-estimated 10,000-pound maximum towing capacity while the WT will be able to tow around 8,000 pounds. A future 2025 model year WT model will be able to tow up to 20,000 pounds when equipped with the available Max. Towing Package. If you need electricity at the worksite or campground, the Ultium battery can also be used as a power supply with the PowerBase charging system — including up to ten outlets with a total output of 10.2 kilowatts.
