The 2016 Chevrolet Bolt has a very promising style and with a starting price around roughly $30,000 after tax credits. The vehicle is available across the nation and offers more than 200 miles of electric range. The Bolt is made mostly out of aluminum. According to a recent publication, aluminum is used on the doors, hood, lift gate and two front cross members. According to the manufacturer, the Bolt can accelerate between 0 to 60 MPH in less than seven seconds; the EV’s top speed is 91 MPH and can be driven between 200 miles of driving range in-between charges. Lastly, the GM’s executive Vice President of global product development, Mark Reuss, the battery pack’s costs of $145 per kWh of energy capacity.
